It is as advertised. The dictionary and phrase translator work offline. Goes both from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish. The translator, like all computer translation, gets stuff wrong, but it is just good enough to make yourself understood. I use this on my iPod Touch while travelling.

Its nearly immediate in the speed category and is worth the $5 just for the seemingly endless dictionary alone (includes phrases and slang). If the big package included Portuguese, Id get it in a heartbeat! [for the upcoming app, could u make a one touch switch for the language button for the translator and dictionary?]

Dont buy this app. Its a horrible translator and doesnt work right. 90 percent of the translations are WRONG.
